Kalmar secures biggest ever ship-to-shore crane order in Europe

Kalmar Industries, which is part of the KONE Materials Handling division of KONE, has received an order for ten ship-to-shore container cranes for the port of Antwerp from MSC Home Terminal.

The contract is the largest ship-to-shore crane order ever booked by any crane supplier in Europe.
The core competence center for Kalmar’s ship-to-shore cranes in Rotterdam is responsible for the delivery of the cranes, which will be delivered to the customer at a pace of one per month during 2004 and 2005.
