KONE Corporation B Option Rights 2004 to Main List

The B option rights relating to KONE Corporation’s Option Program 2004 will be traded on the Helsinki Stock Exchange’s Main List as of 1 April, 2005.

One KONE option right 2004 B entitles its holder to subscribe for three (3) KONE Corporation class B shares (KONBS) at a price of EUR 24.67 per share. The total number of B option rights is 170,000. In the aggregate, the B option rights entitle the holders to subscribe for 510,000 KONE class B shares. The subscription period commences on 1 April, 2005 and ends on 31 March, 2009. The annual window during which the shares can be subscribed with the option rights will be on days separately specified by the Board of Directors during the period from 2 January to 30 November. Due to the demerger of the company, share subscriptions will not be allowed from 1 May, 2005 to 31 May, 2005.
