KONE Corporation Financial Statements for the 15-month Accounting Period Will Be Published on 2 May, 2005

KONE Corporation will publish its financial statements for the 15-month accounting period 1 January, 2004 - 31 March, 2005 on Monday, 2 May, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. Finnish time.

Separate pro forma reviews for KONE and Cargotec for the first quarter of 2005 will be published at the same time. Financial statements and pro forma reviews will be available on the company website www.konecorp.com after publishing.
