KONE Materials Handling Division Becomes Kone Cargotec and KONE Corporation Adopts a New Visual Identity

Through the sale of its tractor and forest machinery businesses, KONE Materials Handling’s structure has changed significantly. As a consequence, the division’s name is being changed to reflect operations better. The new name is Kone Cargotec. Its business areas are Kalmar (container handling) and Hiab (load handling).

The visual identity of the KONE Elevators & Escalators division is being differentiated from that of the parent company, with KONE Corporation getting a new visual identity. The familiar blue block logo will henceforth be used exclusively by KONE Elevators & Escalators.
