KONE to publish its second-quarter result on Tuesday, 23 July, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. Finnish time, telephone conference at 5:00 p.m for analysts and investors

In mid-June, 2002, KONE Corporation acquired a shareholding of more than 30 percent in Partek Corporation, which is listed on the Helsinki Exchanges. Partek’s financial figures have not been consolidated into KONE’s result for January-June. Partek Corporation has previously announced it will publish its interim report on Friday, 26 July, 2002.
