THE INNOVATIVE STREAK

K

ONE has been ranked 48th on the list of the world’s top 100 most

innovative companies by the business magazine Forbes.

KONE’s recent breakthough innovations include its high-rise elevator

hoisting technology, KONE UltraRope®, which enables future elevator

travel heights of one kilometer – twice the distance currently feasible. The

technology will be used in Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom Tower expected to be the world’s

tallest building with a height rising over one kilometer once completed. Another

innovation highlight is the KONE family of People Flow Intelligence solutions, which

makes navigation through buildings ever smoother and smarter.

Featured on the list for the fifth year in a row, KONE ranks as the 5th most

innovative company in Europe.
