cultural inspiration.
Yas Marina Circuit plays host to the
Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi
Grand Prix each November, as well as to
numerous other motorsport events. The
facility is touted as the most state-of-the
art racing circuit in motorsport history.
German Sebastian Vettel, driving for
Red Bull Racing, finished first during
the season-ending inaugural Abu Dhabi
Grand Prix held from October 30th to
November 1st, 2009.
KONE solutions were installed in all
passenger stands, the pit and paddock
buildings as well as in all seven hotels in
and around the circuit.
Approximately 50,000 spectators can
view the action from the comfort of the
covered grandstands and VIP facilities.
The Yas Marina Circuit facility is situated
on an island east of Abu Dhabi and is just
a 25-minute drive from the city center.
